I am the mother of a wonderful and very much loved six year old son. I am an artist, storyteller, and healer as well. I live in the woods beside a very nice pond in a small rural Maine town. Through my vocation and advocations I believe in making a positive change in our world by offering earth-friendly products, and by supporting other families who are nurturing their children in a peaceful way. Barefoot Books and their partners are a wonderful addition to my life and lifestyle, as I hope they are to yours as well.
Often I am asked how I found Barefoot Books...it was while I was attending a storytellers' exchange, what seems like many years ago, when the US Barefoot Books office was in New York. Someone was "borrowing" tales from one of the published anthologies and they were some of the most beautiful stories! Since I was called "The Barefoot Storyteller", it just seemed to be some sort of sign that I should borrow some stories too! After gathering quite a collection of books and also giving many copies away at my storytelling performances, I contacted the company about opening a retailers account, that's when I first heard about the Stallholders program!
